Tell us a little bit about your role at D-Link and what your day to day responsibilities look like?
I joined D-Link 4 years ago as an SOP Administrator and over the years my role has developed. As a Supply Chain Analyst my duties include data processing, inventory planning, and co-ordinating with other departments to support the UKI team.
What is your proudest – none work/academic related- achievement?
Last year I entered a Taekwondo tournament despite having just 6 months training. After three fights, I went on to pick up a gold medal for ladies sparring. It’s the first time I’ve been featured in the local newspaper for my achievements!
If you were a chocolate bar which one would you be and why?
I would definitely be a lion bar as I am fiery, and a bit nuts.
If you could create a new technological device that could do anything what would it be and why?
If only someone could make a machine that would filter what I say so I wouldn’t have to blame it on the language barrier!
What would be the soundtrack to your life?
“Man in the mirror” – Michael Jackson. As well as being a great song, the lyrics remind me that “If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, and then make a change”
If you had to trade places/ positions with someone in the office for a day who would it be and why?
Jatin or Craig so I can finally understand all the technical stuff they talk about.
Where is your favourite place in the world to visit?
I’ve always wanted to go to India, to experience its rich culture, food and to gain a different perspective on life.
Do you have any hobbies?
I joined Taekwondo club last year and I love it – the classes, people, and sparring competitions. You can learn so much about yourself and push yourself to the limit.
If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of advice what would it be?
Don’t fear what you can’t influence.
